When the Times goes all the way with its front page headline

Today was one of those days. Take a look.

You know it is a heavy duty news item when the venerable New York Times spreads its wings to have a six column headline in all capital letters on its front page.

Monday, March 25 is such a day.

Front page souvenir collectors are already saving this one.

It’s a big story, and, for the media, it will be a week of reckoning and dealing with dissecting of “how we covered the Mueller Russia investigation,” while President Trump’s supporters will emphasize “fake news” and blame major media outlets, including The New York Times and The Washington Post, for two years of negative coverage about an investigation that did not turn out evidence of collusion between the President’s men and the Russians.

Politics and reality aside, this is a front page for the ages.

Happy Monday.
