This is the weekend edition of TheMarioBlog. The next blog post is Monday, Feb. 20.

The design is similar for all these pages. Closely cropped photos of President Trump. The mouth has it. The quotes do the rest. At least one newspaper had fun with the “circus like” theme and President Trump's delivery.

There was a quote that had great appeal to editors: “I inherited a mess”.  Pundits took to TV to prove the President wrong: “Mr. President,” they said, “President Obama inherited a bigger mess.”

And, in typical Trumpian fashion, there was the statement where the President shoots from the hip in what many refer to as “never before seen” presidential style. Here we see a photo editing moment that goes well with the quote right on it.
