Perhaps one of the most telling is this full page graphic by the talented Jeff Goertzen, of the Orange County Register (California), which is a detailed timeline from the time Castro took over in Cuba in 1959. More chilling, a graphic about the number of Cuban deaths attributed to the Castro regime: 10,794 death, via executions, most by firing squads. And the saddest: estimated 78,000 Cubans who may have died trying to flee Cuba.
Thanks, Jeff, for this valuable storytelling. And, personally, for dedicating the page to me.
