People cried. Others stood in front of the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris and sang. Video footage of those watching the fire that engulfed one of Paris’ and the world’s most iconic places showed the emotion that was present.
Meanwhile, around the world, the news circulated as rapidly as the fire that crept up the roof of Notre Dame. Push notifications and alerts kept ringing on my phone, from every news source.
