Here is a New York Times story that has it all: a timely, consequential topic ( a chemical attack in Syria which killed many), plenty of visual assets such as video and graphics, plus the added virtual reality element in which the Times’ team “created virtual crime scene to investigate this bombing. “Explore the scene in augmented reality.

Instead, take a look here and you will see that the same headline, summary and even graphics of the digital versions of the story made it to the printed page, quite successfully.
We see that the headline, the summary and many of the visual components of this story have been used across platforms, thus simplifying production and the work of those in charge of curating the material and presenting it through various platforms.
