Sen. John McCain died Sunday afternoon, August 25, in his beloved Sedona, Arizona. The man who was tortured for five years in a North Viet Nam jail, served as a Senator for four decades and who was a candidate for president, succumbed to brain cancer at age 81. His military and public service is legend. So was his fortitude and his ability to put country over party or personal interest.
God knows we need more leaders like McCain today. He will be missed.
