Sometimes a redesign happens in one big swoop of a marketing moment. Sometimes it is evolutionary, and that is how the management team of Rio Negro, published in the scenic Patagonia region of Argentina, have decided to do it.
We began this project in 2015, when I made my first visit there with our Garcia Media Latinoamerica team of Senior Art Directors Rodrigo Fino and Paula Ripoll. It was a briefing session followed by a two-day workshop where our initial ideas began to percolate.
Now the first results of that work is here, with two of the supplements launched last week, and to be continued until May when the entire project will have been launched.
The project includes print and digital.
