It is called simply Papel (Paper). I happened to see it for the first time while spending the weekend in Madrid, although the section apparently has been around for at least two years.
Papel is the daily magazine of El Mundo, and, while printed in the newspaper’s regular newsprint grade paper, the design is totally magazinish. There are big photos, all ragged right body type, and the logo is a type attack of sorts.
The daily supplement consists of 12 pages with topics as follows: timely reportages about Science, Culture, Television, etc.
Inside, stories ranging from the environment and Marine Lions that are trained for rescue operations undersea, to issues of health and sex.
