It's likely to happen. Perhaps all those alerts and vibrations on your wrist are too intrusive (although I don't think so myself after wearing the Apple Watch for six weeks, parting with it only when I go to bed at night).
Or, maybe you wish to make a fashion statement out of what is already a very fashionable time piece.
Now Tom Ford, renowned for his good taste in fashion and colognes, wants you to wear the Apple Watch like an old-fashioned pocket watch. In fact, some claim that “the most innovative aspect of his new Tom Ford Spring 2016 collection is by far his Apple Watch chain accessory.”
Tom Ford is not alone in thinking of pocket watch possibilities for the Apple Watch. Readers of TheMarioBlog may remember that around March 9 I had some flights of fancy using my grandfather's gold pocket watch. In my version, Apple would have created such a version. The possibilities are tremendous and I still think that perhaps a future version of the Apple Watch could come in the way of a pocket watch.
The success of Tom Ford's new fashionable accessory should pave the way. Apple, are you listening?
