Darling, you have interesting content

Here is a publication for women that pushes the right buttons for its stories

One of the advantages of teaching millennials: you learn to see what they read on a daily basis.

I have now discovered Darling, —yes the comma is part of the name of this magazine targeting youngish women with the usual topics, but also politics and more serious stuff.

One of the students in my Multiplatform Design & Storytelling class brought the examples of Darling, as a site that she checked daily for interesting content.

Darling, refers to its readers as “works of art” and it inspires them to bring back “etiquette, character and integrity”.

The design is crisp and modern, very modular and with ample white space around the various blocks of information.

The navigation? Simple and it includes baskets of information about Creativity, Wisdom, and Beauty—but with emphasis on what makes a woman real. Part of Darling,’s What Makes us Difference statement:

We never use Photoshop to alter a women’s faces or bodies.
