Here I was returning from a run through Central Park in New York City when suddenly I saw this particular image move in front of my eyes, yes, at the corner of 79th Street and Second Avenue, at the bus stop. There are two side panels at the bus stop with constantly moving vertical billboards. All the other ads that moved at perfectly synchronized times paled visually when compared to this one from Air France:
To my surprise, this was part of a series. You see the other ones here.
I find material like this as a wonderful source of inspiration. I examined the use of color, and how each billboard emphasizes a different color that usually comes from the large image itself.
I imagine that I have stored the visual essence of these ads for future reference. I can imagine creating a series of social media promotions using this concept.
Inspiration is everywhere, including the bus stop. Keep your eyes open.
And an open mind, of course.
