A New York terrorist attack on the front pages

This is a special edition of TheMarioBlog: showing you front pages of US newspapers covering the terrorist attack in New York City Tuesday afternoon.

When a driver plowed a Home Depot pick up truck down a bike lane along the Hudson River in Manhattan, 8 people were killed and a dozen injured.

By Wednesday morning,  a majority of US newspapers had the story on Page One, some only as a teaser, but very much there. Let’s take a look.

For Argentina: a story very close to home

As 5 of the 8 killed in the New York City terrorist attack were Argentineans, the story became very local, proving that psychological proximity to a story is often as important as geographic proximity.

Front pages of Clarin and La Nacion, the two leading national newspaperss of Argentina.
