New formats, new design.

The three dailies undergoing a total rethinking this week are all basically in the same “neighborhood”: two of them, DeMorgen and De Tijd are Flemish-language newspapers published in Brussels, Belgium, while the Luxemburger Wort, the traditional newspaper of Luxemburg, is a two-hour train ride away.

Editors of all three spent about six months working with the Garcia Media team to make dramatic changes in their quest for more and younger readers. In each case, the new newspaper that emerges offers better navigation, more intelligent use of color, and a new way of looking at ways in which editorial content and visual presentation can combine to make the reader’s journey faster and more pleasant.
