I am always in the lookout for good examples of visual storytelling to show my Columbia University class, Multiplatform Design & Storytelling, especially now that students gear for the final project of the semester: their own multimedia story.
These two examples, from The Washington Post, and Germany’s Suddeutsche Zeitung, provide great examples of stories that innovate thru their use of visual assets that blend well with text. Take a look:
