This is my new project, The Story.
It will be published sometime in the fall 2019 by Thane-Prose. I am proud to announce that my editor for this book is Thane Boulton, publisher.
I will be offering more information here as the project advances. For now, I would like to tell you that it is a fun and challenging project to conceptualize a book totally to be consumed on the small screen of a phone. Indeed, many of us already read books on our iPhones. I know I do, including fiction.
However, in most cases, those books were conceived to be read on tablets or other devices with larger screens.
As we work on the flow of texts and images, we are aware that electronic book publishing technology has not kept up with the pace of how we read on our phones. So, I am finding that there are many limitations.
But we are moving right along.
The book will consist of three main sections:
Transformation.
Storytelling
Design.
Each of these will have a series of I call vignettes (there will be no chapters).

The design is classic and elegant. We are wrapping this very timely and contemporary content in a design that is a salute to newspapers of another era.
