DeMorgen changes from a broadsheet to Berliner format. This is an interesting concept in the use of color. Once we knew the newspaper would go to a Berliner format, and have great new color presses available, we decided to consider a more all-inclusive use of color. The entire front page is colorized with at least three gradations of color, but the logo area reamains white, and it is the only white background area of the page.
