The Mooch’s quick departure on the front pages

It is perhaps the shortest tenure of any Director of Communications in the White House ever: Anthony Scaramucci lasted exactly 11 days on the job. His tumultous reign ended abruptly this week. The front pages had fun with the story.

Anthony Scaramucci, who was director of communications for the Trump White House until earlier this week, has been described as bombastic, colorful and potty-mouthed.  Perhaps his biggest sin—beyond the vulgar statements about his colleagues, which the media could not even quote on air—has been to become larger than life, and larger than his boss, President Donald Trump.

Mr. Scaramucci was named communications director on July 21 and removed July 31.

Here is how some of the US newspapers carried the departure of Scaramucci (also known as The Mooch). I love some of these creative headlines.
