The Macron victory in France through the front pages

Emmanuel Macron becomes, at 39, the youngest president of France since Napoleon. His convincing 63 to 37% victory over rival Marine LePen has created a sort of political earthquake that resonates across Europe and the world. Here are some front pages that show the importance of this historic French election

This is a special edition of TheMarioBlog. It will remain posted as I update it with more front pages. Updated, New York City, Monday, 5/8 at 11:15.

It is front page news of the biggest magnitude: a young investment banker with no political pedigree becomes the new President of France. Emmanuel Macron has surprised with his youth, his strategy and ultimately his victory over the better known, right wing party candidate Marine LePen.

It is relief for the French. Major relief for Europe.  Great relief for the world!

The Monday, May 8 front pages reflect the importance of the most historic French presidential election in decades.

Take a look here!

This blog will be updates with more pages as I received them. Please send me your front pages at mario@garciamedia.com
