Italy: we create new logo for The Post Internazionale

When the Italian digital media site The Post Internazionale wanted to go for a change of logo, it turned to us at Garcia Media. Now the new brand was introduced. Take a look.

From our very first conversation with The Post Internazionale’s  (TPI) editor in chief Giulio Gambino, we discussed what the goals of the rebranding were:  to lend TPI a sense of credibility, elegance, sobriety and simplicity.

Knowing that the typography and the color palette will be the first impression of a firm, we opted for maintaining a serif font for the lettering, and the red that is already part of the TPI trademark.’

Let’s compare the logo of TPI that was there since the start, below, with the new one, which follows:

Another requirement of the new logo is that it would allow the editors and designers to incorporate news next to the TPI letters.

Here is how the new logo is now displayed at the top of the website

Here is how the new logo adapts to a variety of uses:

This was a project headed by our Garcia Media Latinamerica team with senior art directors Rodrigo Fino and Paula Ripoll.
