The Wall Street Journal: Don’t miss these stories!

Always a pioneer in topics related to how readers manage the time spent reading its pages, The Wall Street Journal makes sure that time is king, even though this is the king of substance — how about two or three exclusives per week, or more?

Starting with the “What’s News” navigator on page one, the WSJ guides the reader whose time is very limited — isn’t that all of us?

The Wall Street Journal teaches us valuable lessons. First, editors create navigators with readers in mind. The editor becomes timekeeper, offering the reader CHOICES of what to read based on time available. Each section front offers a navigation box where one can hear the editor telling the reader: “if you only have five minutes to devote to this section, DON”T MISS THESE THREE STORIES.”
