And now the annual report via Virtual Reality

This is one of those moments when you stop and realize how far we have come in the way we can present information today. Take a look at this annual report from Ringier, the Swiss media group. And the numbers are impressive, too.

This is the weekend edition of TheMarioBlog and will be updated as needed. Because much of the world celebrates May Day/Labor Day holiday,  the next blog post is Tuesday, May 2.

Updated Friday, April 28, New York City, 16:28

What a pleasant surprise to see the annual report from Ringier, the Swiss media group, and a former client of Garcia Media, as a 360-movie. To watch it, use VR glasses/headsets or, alternatively move around using the arrow keys on your keyboard, or the navigation tool on the upper left corner of the video.

The good news, aside from the way it is presented,  is that this annual report reflects that for the first time the company achieved more digital advertising revenue than print.

Our work with Ringier in Zurich involved the redesign/rethink of the Sunday newspaper, Sonntags Blick.

Great news from The New York Times, which has started a new column in its food section, devoted totally to desserts.

The column is written by Dorie Greenspan.
